The Myth Behind the Chinese Zodiac

Love Horoscope Home - Love HoroscopeIf you look in any newspaper or magazine, or even on the Internet, you are sure to find your love horoscope. Typically you will see two different types of horoscopes, with one based in Western astrology and the other based in Chinese astrology. You can use your horoscope to see many things, such as your character traits, and what the week ahead may have in store for you. You can even check your love horoscope to see if there are any budding romances in your future. There are many differences between Western and Chinese astrology, one of them being how your sign is figured out. Western astrology is typically based on your month and date of birth, and this information is then used to figure out what your sun sign is. Chinese astrology utilizes your year of birth to figure out your animal. The animals of the Chinese zodiac are based on ancient Chinese culture and mythology. You can find out which animal your Zodiac is represented by over at http://lovehoroscope.me/ so that you can get a better sense of what your symbol represents.

The myth behind how the animals became a part of the Chinese zodiac has many different versions. This is normal for a story that has been told over and over and passed down through many generations and a variety of people. There is, however, a small snippet of the story that has stayed the same as it has been told and retold. The twelve animals that are a part of the Chinese zodiac, were invited and those that came were incorporated into the Chinese zodiac. In one version of the story, Buddha invited the animals to be with him as he passed from this world. In another version of the story, the Jade Emperor invited the animals to attend a birthday party.

There are also differences in how the animals were invited to attend the events. In one version of the invitation, all of the animals were invited to a feast. In another version, the animals were invited to have a race. The first twelve animals that crossed the finish line were those that would be incorporated into the Chinese zodiac. In this way, the order in which the animals crossed the finish line were also the order in which the animals were positioned on the zodiac.
